Many thanks go out to Mrs. Vivian and Mr. Oberlin Evenson for their very generous donation that enabled San Diego Harmony Ringers to purchase 5 octaves of Schulmerich Handbells. This gift was given to us at the end of our 2009 season, and we received our order from Schulmerich in March 2010. We performed a private concert for Vivian as a small way to say "thank you" for such a generous donation. This has been a dream of ours for many years and we are grateful to these benefactors for their part in fulfulling our dream. Vivian passed away peacefully on October 6, 2015 at her home in Point Loma. She will always be remembered for her generosity to San Diego Harmony Ringers and to the San Diego community.
